R&B singer Charlie Wilson has been gracing stages since the ’60s, but this is no nostalgia act. In fact, he’s getting some of the best concert reviews of his entire career. His energetic, party-like concerts combine the smooth R&B style he’s largely adopted over the last decade with the straight-on funk that first made him and his brothers famous in The Gap Band. Tickets for his tours are snapped up by generations of fans, with those from The Gap Band’s heyday joined by newbies drawn in by his contemporary material and his close associations with current stars like Snoop Dogg and R. Kelly. Wilson’s recording career continues to be as vital as his concerts. His 2013 album, Love, Charlie, reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart, marking his second album to reach the Top 5 in four years, and his 2010 ballad “You Are” was nominated for two Grammys.
Music really does have the power to save, and R&B singer KEM has the story – and the Grammy nominations – to prove it. After a troubled adolescence that included homelessness and addiction, the singer turned his life around through music and an interest in spirituality that has informed his sound and songs ever since. In 2013, KEM released What Christmas Means: Deluxe Edition, an album of spiritual songs featuring R&B legend Patti LaBelle on “Jesus” and Ledisi on “Be Mine For Christmas.” Previously, KEM released 3 gold-certified albums in the 2000s through Motown Records, a label that perfectly suits the classic, throwback sound found on successful singles like “Love Calls” and “I Can’t Stop Loving You.” His 2010 album Intimacy: Album III peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, earning him 2 Grammy nominations, including Best R&B Song for “Why Would You Stay.” On the road in 2013 with his What Christmas Means Tour, KEM has been treating ticket buyers to his classy take on holiday spirituality, earning rave reviews for his intimate, inspiring live concerts.
Last week, R&B veteran Joe announced that the official second single off his No. 1 albumBridges, is the powerful and thought-provoking ballad “If You Lose Her.”

A fan favorite off the singers 11th studio album, the single speaks to a man about the consequence of neglect through their own selfish pleasures.
The recently shot music video, helmed by acclaimed director Bille Woodruff, was filmed at the historic Million Dollar Theatre in Los Angeles. The visual features a unique element, with international sand artist Kseniya Simonova creating an elaborate sand story that beautifully depicts the thought provoking lyrics. The sand story is juxtaposed with scenes of Joe performing the emotional ballad to an audience of two lovers facing a crossroads.
“If You Lose Her” is currently the No. 1 Most Added song at Urban AC radio this week
